Shirley Jo Whaley

Shirley Jo Whaley, 88 of Cleveland died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in Dalton, GA. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nelle Crisp Creasman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Whaley, her siblings, Helen Pettyjohn, Kate Goforth, Merritt Creasman, and Arthur Creasman, Jr. Mrs. Whaley was a longtime member of Michigan Ave. Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Jim) Dixon, Summerville, GA, Keith (Debbie) Whaley, and Tim (Shelia) Whaley, all of Bartlett, TN, grandchildren, Paula Dixon, Matt (Erica Dixon, Nicholas (Lana) Whaley, Lauren (Jeff) Goodwin, Morgan Whaley, and Chelsea Whaley; great grandchildren, Olivia and Pierce Dixon, and Hogan Whaley; and sister, Sonya Buckner, Lenoir City, TN.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 P.M Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the funeral home.
