Martha Lucia Bartolo

Martha Lucia Bartolo, age 58, passed away peacefully in her home on October 24, 2019 surrounded by family and loved ones. She valiantly battled cancer for five years until claiming her victory as she returned to her heavenly home.

She was born on March 7, 1961 in Plainfield, New Jersey toFrancesco and Lucia Bartolo.  Martha humbly served her community as a Registered Nurse for 36 years.  She was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and was an active member of The Calvary Chapel church.  She served in various capacities including mission trips, children’s ministry, greeting and hospitality, and in whatever way she could find to serve.

She is preceded in death by her father, Francesco Bartolo and her mother, Lucia Bartolo.

Martha is survived by her brother, Anthony Bartolo (Jane); sister JoAnn Briscoe (Greg); and sister Lucy Gearinger (Scott); nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Jackson (Jonathan), Chloe Howard (Seth), Hannah Allen (Rial), Francesca Gearinger, Noah Briscoe (Kyli), Gabriella Gearinger, Matteo Briscoe, Isabella Gearinger; step-nieces: Mary Jane Skelly-Klotz (Michael), Sarah Hunt-Skelly (Michael), Emily Stout (Chad), Rachel Skelly and Colleen Skelly; great nieces and nephews: Alexia Jackson, Gracie Jackson, Kaleb Jackson and Red Howard, to all of whom she was lovingly devoted.

The service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Pastor Richie Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
