Kenneth Lester Goins, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021at a hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict, then worked at Magic Chef for 45 years, finishing his career retiring as district manager of the mobile home RV division. Mr. Goins was married to the love of his life, Nancy Jim Holland Goins, for 69 year. He collected and loved cowboy history, and was an avid shooter.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Lester Goins and Lennie Viola Prince Goins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Jim Holland Goins of Cleveland; godchildren, Stephanie Goins Field, and Sydney Goins Watson; sister, Joan Elliot; and nephew, James Elliot
A graveside celebration of his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Reverend Joel Huffstetler officiating.
