Pastor Jordan Gabriel Beri, the beloved Youth Pastor of Cohutta Hills Community Church, passed away on April 6, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born on September 12, 2000, in Elberton, Georgia. Throughout his life, Jordan's unwavering faith in his Lord Jesus was evident to all who knew him.
From a young age, Jordan felt a calling to serve others and spread the word of God. At the tender age of 4, he began his journey as an evangelist and continued to touch the lives of many through his actions and words. In September 2018, he took a step further by Establishing "Gods House of Praise Ministries," leaving a lasting impact on his community.
Jordan's passion for serving Jesus extended beyond his career. His hobbies included ministering to others and finding ways to express his love for his church and Savior. His personality shone brightly through his dedication and kindness towards those around him.
In addition to his spiritual accomplishments, Jordan also made time for his family and friends. He is shouting on the Hills of Glory with his siblings Joshua Dalton Beri, Christian "Gracie" Beri, Kyson Beri, as well as his paternal grandparents Louis and Betty Beri, maternal grandparents Dale and Carol Clarke, and Papa Pastor Alvin Swan.
Jordan is survived by his loving parents Angela and Patrick Beri, the love of his life “Princess” Haleigh Adams, siblings Patrick Beri Jr. (Jessica), Katy (Justin Bell), Melinda (Johnathan) Miller, Brittany (Daniel) Sparry. He also leaves behind Uncle David (Ginny) Shaver and Mike (Dana) Beri, Aunt Linda, Honorary Grandma "Gammie," Nanny, and spiritual Daddy Pastor Sammy Randolph.
A man of great faith and compassion has departed from this world but leaves behind memories that will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. A celebration of Jordan's life will be held at Cohutta Hills Community Church in Cohutta on April 9th followed by visitation at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland on April 10th. The funeral service will also be held at the same location followed by burial at Calhoun First Baptist Church in Calhoun.
Pastor Jordan Gabriel Beri will always be remembered for his kindness, dedication to serving others, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. May his soul rest in peace knowing that he made a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services to celebrate the Life of Pastor Jordan Beri will be Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the funeral home chapel with Pastor's Sammy Randolph, Jon Varnes and Ken Buffington officiating, burial will follow in the Calhoun first Baptist church cemetery in Calhoun, Tn. The family will accept friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
