Jennings C. Tallent

Jennings C. Tallent, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in a local healthcare facility.  He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as an upholsterer at Cooke Manufacturing Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Lois Tallent; parents, Henry Tallent and Lois Tallent.

He is survived by four children, Holly Goodman and husband Mike, Charlotte Miller and husband Berl, Roger Tallent and wife Renée, and Ricky Tallent and wife Julia, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Somer Tallent, Whitney Hoffner, Nikki Rothwell, Mason Rothwell, Heather Lenderman, Parker Lenderman, McKenna Stinnett, and Amy Williams; and one great-grandchild, Alexis Crisp; and life companion, Barbara Sloan.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Mason officiating.   Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes to conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
