Jacqueline "Jackie" Dempsey Fussell

Jacqueline (Jackie) Dempsey Fussell, 89, passed away peacefully February 26, 2025. She was born October 31,1935 in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Jackie was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. She was a faithful member of Community Hall Church where she enjoyed supporting the church with her musical gift of playing the piano. 

Jackie loved her family and loved Atlanta Braves baseball. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille Bishop Dempsey and Clarence Dempsey; husband, Bill Fussell; sister, Bobbie Jean Dempsey and husband Paul, and nephews, Ronnie Williams, Brent Gill, and Greg Grigsby.

 She is survived by nieces and nephews, Pat Williams, Gerald Williams and wife Novella, Steve Williams and wife Linda, Eddie Williams and wife Carolyn, Connie Grigsby, and Paula Gill; great nieces and nephews, Chris Williams, Brittany Jaynes, Courtney Williams, Nick Williams, Sarah Williams, Erica Sherrill, Kaitlin Conner, Angie Tuck, Johnny Gill, and Bridgette Gresham.

Jackie also leaves special friends, Jeanne Cissom, Trudy Ellis, Patricia Ellis and Bill McMahan.

 Jackie was a remarkable woman with a fabulous smile, a hearty laugh and a gentle spirit.

 The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services with burial to follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service
