Frances Imogene McKin

Frances Imogene McKin, age 95, a long-time resident of Cleveland, TN, and for the past 3 ½ years a resident of Lenoir City, TN passed away Tuesday,  November 9, 2021 in Maryville, TN.  Imogene was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Apison Baptist church.  She was a life-long homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm.  She enjoyed doing word puzzles to keep her mind sharp.  She was a loving mother.

Imogene was the last surviving of her siblings, Ernest Teasley, Elmer Teasley, Carl Mervin Teasley, Mildred White, Juanita Whittle, Alan Teasley, Ralph Teasley, Dorothy Dougherty, Melvin Teasley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Teasley and Hettie Best Teasley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jesse McKin, son Lloyd Thomas McKin, and granddaughter Tayrn Ellis. 

She is survived by her three daughters, Marian Barett (Bill) of Jasper, GA;  Faye Long (O’Dale) of Cleveland;  Becky Swiger (Kenneth) of Lenoir City, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Pastor Ken Swiger officiating.  Interment will be private at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Marty Robbins, Bill Barrett, Alex Swiger, Ken Swiger, Drew Ellis and O’Dale Long serving as Honorary Pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
