Eunice Ann Evans

Eunice Evans, 86, a longtime resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at home with her family by her side. Eunice was a loving mother and grandmother, and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital where she worked in the insurance department.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Campbell Evans; her parents, William and Mary Wilson; two sisters, Wanda Thompson and Nadia Kimsey; and a brother, Willard Wilson.

She is survived by her two children, Michael Evans of Knoxville, and Danny Evans of China Grove, NC; three grandchildren, Justin Evans, Cason Evans, and Kathryn Evans, all of China Grove, NC; and two brothers, Ralph Wilson of Cleveland, and Bill Wilson of Loganville, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in Chilcutt Cemetery.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at the funeral home.
