Edith Leslie

Edith Leslie, age 98, a resident of Cleveland, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Edith was a member of the Kinser Church of God and was known for her gentle spirit and her prayers. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles and playing her guitar. Most of all, she enjoyed her family. Edith was born on May 21, 1924 to James Lewis and Eliza Clark, both precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by husband Robert Leslie to whom she was married for sixty one years; son Gary Leslie; and daughter Kathy Walraven as well as her five sisters and six brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Cross(Dennis), Joy Blackburn(Charles), Patricia Clements(Wayne) and one son, Danny Leslie(Cheryl.) Edith was blessed with 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. A service will be held Saturday, July 30, 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jacob Miller, Rick Bunnell, Mark Bunnell, David Miller, Chuck Blackburn, D.J. Leslie, Mykal Leslie and Jeremy Pike serving as pallbearers. Reverend Quinn Green will officiate the graveside service. A release of white doves and playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
