Charles Y. Smith

Charles Y. Smith, a beloved member of the Cleveland community, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on January 17, 1948, in Cleveland, Charles was known not only for his unwavering faith as a member of the Church of God but also for his generous spirit and steadfast support of Lee University.

Throughout his life, Charles embodied the values of service and compassion, touching the lives of many with his kindness and commitment to his beliefs. His contributions to his church and the local community were marked by a deep-seated passion for helping others. Friends and family will remember him as a devoted individual, whose presence brought comfort and encouragement to those around him.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles and Ruby Smith (née Dixon), and his cherished sister, Linda F. Smith. He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Charles Y. Smith's life serves as a testament to the positive impact one individual can have on their community, and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
