Bobby McLain

Bobby McLain, age 84, a resident of Cleveland for 78 years passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center, with family at his side.  He currently resided with his son and daughter in law in Savannah, GA.  He was a member of the Evening Light Gospel Tabernacle.   He was retired from Pathway Press (formerly, Church of God Publishing House) after 33 years of service.  He enjoyed watching old western movies, listening to music, spending time with his best friend, the family dog, Duncan, and staying in touch with friends on FaceBook).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudelle Young McLain;  his son Greg McLain;  his parents C.L. and Alice McLain Sr.;  and his two brothers: C.L. McLain Jr. and Fletcher McLain.

He is survived by one Son, Stephen (Mac) McLain and his wife Christy of Savannah Ga; his daughter-in-law, Melissa McLain of Cleveland, TN; his five grandchildren:  Wendi, Lakesha, Christina, Lucas, and Dillon; his seven great-grandchildren;  and his three great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Guinn Green officiating.  Interment will follow at Earls Cemetery in McDonald, TN.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Monday January 17, 2022, for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
