Bernice Jenkins Lewallen, 74 of Cleveland passed away Friday, April 11, 2025.A native of Bradley County, she was the loving wife of Enis Lewallen. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Jane Thomason Jenkins. She was a member of Mineral Park Baptist Church and retired from Peytons after 16 years of service. She was a friend to anyone who met her and treated them like family. She enjoyed traveling, being in nature, and working in her flowers. She had tremendous love for her sons, Robbie and Stacey. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending nail and hair time with Shelby. She loved watching Sydney play ball and sing. She loved spending play time with Willow May.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Enis Lewallen; sons, Robert (Kimberly) Lewallen, and Stacey (Wendy) Lewallen; grandchildren, Shelby (Tanner) Hunt and Sydney Lewallen; great grandchildren, Willow May Hunt and River Hunt who will be here soon; siblings, R. L. (Sandra) Jenkins, Millie (Billy) Goode, Chris (Gary) Burris, Ronnie (Tammie) Jenkins; special nieces and nephew, Carolyn Goode, Courtney Allen, and David Goode, and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 P. M., Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 P. M. Monday, April 14, 2025 at Poole Funeral Home.
