Barbara Sloan

Barbara Sloan, age 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday December 8, 2021 in Cleveland, TN.  She was a Christian of non denomination faith.  She resided at Signature Care of Cleveland and performed volunteer work there during her stay.  Her hobbies included pictures, crocheting, bingo, music, dancing, the Bible, family historian and loving her family. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Ruth Sloan; sister, Jo Ann Moore, and life partner, Jennings Tallent.

She is survived by her niece, Tanya and Gregory Davis of Cleveland; nephew-in-law, Howard Schabell of Cleveland; great-nephews, Dakota and Stephanie Schabell of Cleveland, Jacob Schabell of Cleveland, and Nolan Schabell of Cleveland; great-nieces, Rachel Schabell of Cleveland, Shadow and Phillip Shanley of Chattanooga, Shyla Walker of Cleveland, Makayla Schabell of Cleveland; great-great-nephews and nieces:  Oakley, Izzac, Tabitha Grace and Gunner.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Mason officiating.  Interment will follow at Ball Play Cemetery in Old Fort. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 12 prior to the service at the funeral home.
