Audrea Elaine McBrayer

Audrea Elaine McBrayer, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 76.

Audrea was preceded in death by her husband; J.B. McBrayer, and parents; Hoyt and Helen Walker, whose values of strength, kindness and perseverance she carried throughout her life.

She leaves behind her devoted son, Jason McBrayer, and her daughter-in-love, Shannon McBrayer. Audrea’s pride and joy were her grandchildren-Jackson, Madeline, and William-whom she adored and who brought endless happiness to her life as their Nana. She also held a special place in her heart for her “adopted” grandson’s, Eli and Ian, whom she loved as her own.

Audrea is also survived by her dear sister; Shelley (John) Cavender, her brother; Earl Walker, and her best friend and confidant; Sara Williams, whose unwavering friendship was a true blessing.

Audrea will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and unshakable love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched with her gentle spirit and open heart.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 4PM in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Heidi Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4PM. Interment will follow the service at Tasso UMC Cemetery.
