Clifford Edward Hughes

Clifford Hughes, age 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of the West Cleveland Church of God and a former member of Mt. Olive Church of God. He was employed with Superior Olds Cadillac. Mr. Hughes was the son of the late Rufus and Maranda Ropen Hughes and was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean A. Hughes. He is survived by one sister Pauline McAmis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Sammie Hughes and Reverend James E. Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
