Leon Fox, age 64, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at his home. He was a self-employed used car salesman and enjoyed restoring antique cars and was a member of Mainstreet Cruisers Car Club. As a lay minister, he preached for area churches and attended Victory House of Prayer in Athens and Holy Anointed House of Prayer in Georgia. He was the son of the late Paul and Ruby Lee Fox and was also preceded in death by his brother, J. P. Fox. He is survived by his wife, Ruby W. Fox of Old Fort; children and their spouses: Arlette and Mitchell James of Cleveland, Dale Moore of Cleveland, and William Leon, Jr. and Crystal Fox of Old Fort; grandchildren: Charity and Adam Baggett of Chattanooga, and Brittney and Larry Back of Cleveland; one great grandchild, Kyler Back of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, George and Brenda Fox of Polk County; sister-in-law, Margaret Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
