Willie Sargent

Willie M. "Billie" Sargent, age 78, a resident of Cleveland since 1972, passed away Friday, November 18, 2005 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was of the Church of God faith. Her parents, William and Nellie Sanders Land, preceded her in death. She is survived by four children: Diana Smith of Cleveland, Shelia Dalton of Covington, GA, Joseph E. Sargent, Jr. of Portland, and Shari Sargent of Cleveland; one sister, Ruby Henry of Palmer; one brother, Howard Land of Tracy City; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren; former husbands: Joe Sargent, Sr. of Monteagle, and James Henry of Alabama; special friends: Pat Maples Burrows of Cleveland, Dianna Hagar and children of Cleveland, Ohio, and Cathy Garner and children of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Watson officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. CST in Fall Creek Cemetery in Grundy County. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
