Frankie Rayfield, age 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 at a local hospital. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church, a homemaker and an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Mandy Hicks Shahan. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine and one-half years, Billy Rayfield of Cleveland; five children and spouses: Tony and Cindy Rayfield of Decatur, Perry and Lisa Rayfield of Cleveland, Connie and Randy Eaves of Springplace, GA, Barry and Candy Rayfield of Cleveland and Carolyn and Kenneth Flowers also of Cleveland; one sister, Norma Lee Guyer of Cleveland; two brothers: James Shahan and Jip Shahan, both of Cleveland; eleven grandchildren: Nathan Graham, Timothy Graham, Bradley Rayfield, Matt Rayfield, Crystal Rayfield, Anthony Rayfield, Caitlyn Rayfield, T. J. Rayfield, Cody Flowers, Nicole Flowers and Alexis Eaves; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jeannie Cissom, Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Roger Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service. Ronald Stevison, Gary Nelson, II, Gary Nelson, Sr., Joel Curry, Mickey Poole and Brad Dunn will serves as pallbearers. Mrs. Rayfield?s grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
