Frances Foster Godfrey

Frances Foster Godfrey, age 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 in a local healthcare facility. She was of the Church of God faith. Mrs. Godfrey was the daughter of the late H. A. and Della Thompson Foster and was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Lee Godfrey, and her son, Franklin Lee Godfrey, Jr. She is survived by two daughters: Linda Strong Wells of Cleveland, and Darlene Southerland of Dalton, GA; three sisters Tommie Foster and Mary Nell Elliott, both of Dalton, GA, and Mabel Alexander of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Ovit Foster of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two special friends: Virginia Hayes and Evelyn Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
