William Smith

William "Billy" Patrick Smith, age 35, a resident of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Smith; grandparents: Bill and Elsie MacKay and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, Jr.; aunt, Linda MacKay Bunch; and uncle, Charles Hollis Smith. He is survived by his parents, David and Jean Smith of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, John and Kristy Smith of Birmingham, AL; aunts and uncles: Denie and Ernie Pursley of Ringgold, GA; Larry Bunch of NC and Brenda Smith of Knoxville, TN; niece, Sadie Smith of Birmingham, AL; nephews: Adam Bunch and Andrew Bunch of NC; aunt, Brenda Smith of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister David Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the release of white doves concluding the service.
