Willard Calfee, age 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2006 in a local hospital. He was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith. He was well known in several businesses as a dairy farmer in the 1950?s, well drilling business in the 1960?s, Gibson Discount Centers in the 1970?s, and Calfees Grocery in the 1980?s. His retirement years were spent as "The Biscuit Man" at Calfees Produce on Highway 64. Mr. Calfee was also on the board of directors at First Bank of Tennessee in Polk County for over twenty years. He was the son of the late Bascom and Cora Price Calfee and was preceded in death by his wife, Margueretta Calfee; brother, George Calfee and a sister Maxie Kincaid. Survivors include his children and spouses: Willardean and Robert Malone, Victor and Wanda Calfee, Richard and Renee Calfee, Leroy and Dena Calfee all of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; five sisters: Thelma Holt of Cleveland, Leona "Mutt" Hamilton of Cleveland, Ruby "Patsy" Lee of Apopka, FL, Dorothy "Cooter" Charles of Calhoun, GA and Della "Hammer" Wilson of Chatsworth, GA; one brother, "Pete" Calfee of Lwfkin, TX; several nieces and nephews also survive.
