Odessa June McAlpin Cordell

Odessa June McAlpin Cordell, age 87, a resident of Cleveland, was born into eternity on Saturday, February 11, 2006. She was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John McAlpin and Lily Walker McAlpin, her husband, John Oliver Cordell, a son, Grover Lee Cordell, a daughter, Frances Cordell Harden, a brother, Curtis McAlpin, a sister, Pauline Walker, two sons-in-law: Ronnie Stepp and Hutie Harden, and two grandsons: Ryan Stepp and Bryan Stepp. Survivors include two daughters: Alberta Stepp of Cleveland and Margie Brown and husband Bill of Charleston; five sons and their spouses: William and Linda Cordell of Hixson, Ray and Karen Cordell of Georgetown, Carroll and Betty Cordell of Lupton City, Larry and Jackie Cordell of Georgetown, and Alvin and Donna Cordell of Cleveland; eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Florine Russell Hughes of Soddy Daisy; and several nieces and nephews.
