John Byron "J.B." O?Kelley, age 80, a resident of Chattanooga, and formerly of the Cleveland area, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 in a Chattanooga hospital. Before his retirement, he was employed with TVA for 43 years as an aerial photographer. He was a member of Avondale Baptist Church. Mr. O?Kelley was formerly a member of the Whorley Masonic Lodge #601 F&AM, currently a member of East Lake Masonic Lodge #698 F&AM, Chattanooga Scottish Rite and the Alhambra Shrine Center. His parents, Johnson Ernest O?Kelley and Anna Bell Rogers Gibson, preceded him in death, as well as his sister, Joyce O?Kelley Johnson, and nephews, Greg Miller and Terry Stamey. He is survived by three sisters: Kathleen Jolley, Delores Miller and husband Alvin, and Katherine Kelley, all of Cleveland; eleven nephews: Mike Jolley, Tom Jolley, both of Cleveland, Marc Jolley of Macon, GA, Edwin Miller, Eric Miller, both of Knoxville, Joe Kelley, John Kelley, both of Cleveland, Bobby Kelley of Cartersville, GA, Charles Martin of Orange Beach, FL, Kim Johnson of Burke, VA, and Jeff Johnson of Chatsworth, GA; and one niece, Debbie Kyle of Savannah, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday.
