Frances P. Brady, age 91, a resident of Harrison, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2006 at her residence. She was a member of the Bancroft Church of God since the age of 14. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Z. and Nannie Ramsey Scoggins, sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lee and Lester Mathews, Margaret Holder of McDonald, Maggie and Wiley Gaston, Martha and Joe B. Jones and Reverend Ida Scoggins all of Cleveland, and Verla Kate Mathews Watson and her husbands: W.C. Mathews and the Reverend Bob Watson of McDonald; three brothers: Jack Scoggins, Floyd Scoggins who died at young ages, and Clyde and Edith Craigo Scoggins of McDonald; brothers-in-law: James Clingan, Perry Taylor and Ben Neely, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Frank Brady of Harrison; two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Dorothy Brady and Wayne and Carol Brady all of Harrison; three grandchildren: Kathy Estes of Harrison, Kim Resue and husband Tom Resue of Harrison and Wayne Brady, Jr. and wife, Beth Brady of Cleveland; three great-grandchildren: Katrina Estes, Nathan Resue and Timothy Resue; four sisters and brother-in-law: Hazel Taylor of Cleveland, Katherine Clingan of McDonald, Oma Jean and Reverend James "Bud" Tinsley of Cleveland, Nellie "Tip" Neely of Rainsville, AL; brother-in-law, Tom Holder of McDonald. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor William Curtis and Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in the Old McDonald Cemetery at Snow Hill with Wayne Brady, Jr., Eddie Ramsey, Tommy Resue, Nathan Resue, Bobby Jones and Coy Dean Neely serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the funeral home.
