Johnny William Long, age 57, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 24, 2006 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid fisherman. He was employed with Jackson Manufacturing for 27 years. Mr. Long was the son of the late Joe and Blanche Long and was also preceded in death by a sister, Orelle Duggan and his mother-in-law, Vickie Goins. He is survived by his wife, Regenia Long of Cleveland; brother, Bobby Long and spouse Melba Long; sister, Mary Cross and Bill Cross; daughters: Cindy Hilbert and spouse Chris Crump of Cleveland, Vicky Cook and spouse, Chad Cook of Cleveland, Tracy Trentham, Jennifer Parker and Shana Parker of Cleveland; grandchildren: Kristen Crump, Brandon Cook, Tyler Cook, Jonathan Cook, Shayla Nipper, Ashley Foster, Nolan Simmons, Waylon Lawson, and Clayton Johnson all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery with Timmy Cross, Chad Cook, Terry Massengill, Michael Payne, Chris Crump and Ryan Hughes serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
