Frank J. McMahan, age 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 05, 2006 at his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of American Legion Post 81. Before his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver with Gold Star Trucking Company. He was of the Methodist faith. His father, G. B. McMahan, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Lona Whaley McMahan of Cleveland; special friend, Ann McMahan of Cleveland; three children: Wanda Goode, Kathy Patton and Tommy McMahan, all of Cleveland; two step-daughters: Carolyn Burns of Cleveland, and Sherry McDonald of Benton; four grandchildren: Jason McMahan, Kiesha Goode, Cody Visage, and Brooke McMahan; and two brothers: Herbert McMahan of Conway, AR, and J. D. McMahan of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Higgins and Reverend Ron Wood officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery with Eddie McMahan, Scott McMahan, David Scoggins, P. D. Doss, Earl Pike, Richard Bishop, Bobby Doss and Harold Visage serving as pallbearers.
