Robert Larry Daffron, age 63, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, May 07, 2006 in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Protestant faith. He was the owner/operator of the Quik Burger Restaurant. His mother, Edna Mae Moore Daffron, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Remell Smith Daffron of Cleveland; two children: Dawn Stansberry and husband Eric, and Rob Daffron, all of Cleveland; father, Robert Samuel Daffron of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Ryan Stansberry and Ashley Stansberry, both of Cleveland; and four aunts: Inez Rominger, Frances Scoggins, Betty Jo Snyder and Lois Dean James, all of Cleveland. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Scoggins officiating. His family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 p.m. Tuesday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
