Betty Jo Brooks Ownbey

Betty Jo Brooks Ownbey, age 59, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Cleveland Christian Church. She was an avid fisherman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Simpson Brooks. She is survived by her father, Burt Brooks of LaGrange, Texas; children, Tammy Jo Berger and husband Steve of Birmingham, Alabama, Larry Joe Ownbey, Jr. and wife, Darlene, Billy Joe Ownbey and wife, Melissa of Cleveland, Joe Ownbey and wife, Candi of Dalton, Ga., Wanda Jo Tolzman and husband, Charlie of Cleveland; grandchildren:Travis Berger, Mike Berger, Colby Ownbey, John Allen Rymer, Cheyenne Rymer, Joseph Ownbey, Nicholas Ownbey, Justin Ownbey, Shannon Ownbey and Sarah Ownbey; sisters: Wanda Droke and husband, Ernest of Decatur, TN, Nancy Welder and husband, Keith of Cleveland, TN; brothers: Robert Howell, Jr. and wife, Judy of Cleveland, Kenneth Howell and wife, Beth of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. David O?Neal officiating.
