Floyd Gibson, age 76, a resident of Charleston, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2006 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Before his retirement, he was a bus driver with the Cleveland City School System. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Maggie Gibson, his wife of 55 years, Tommie Gibson, son, Gary Gibson, and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by three children: Vick Gibson of Cleveland, Rita Neal and Myrtle DuBrian, both of Charleston; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jenkins of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jamison Work officiating. Interment will follow in Centerpoint Baptist Church Cemetery with Michael Gibson, Jeffrey Gibson, Trevor Webb, Rob Burger, Lewis Harold and Charles Harold serving as pallbearers.
