Harvey B. Cochran, age 59, a resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the family residence. He attended the Charleston Church of God. He was an avid fisherman and was employed with Olin Chemicals for forty years. Mr. Cochran was the son of the late Harve Fender and Nola Madelene Goodman Cochran and was also preceded in death by his step-son, Chris Parker, brothers, Fender Cochran and J.R. Cochran, sisters, Martha Cochran and Alberta Suttles. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Cochran of Charleston; three children and spouses: Jan Cochran of Athens, Brian and Elisa Cochran of Athens, Dr. Jennifer Roller and Jamie Roller of Maryville; one step-son, Matt Parker of Charleston; four grandchildren; two brothers: Chester Cochran of Kingston and Luther Cochran of Connersville, IN; three sisters: Maggie Hoffman of Englewood, Dorothy Jones of Atlanta, GA and Olive Rose of Chattanooga. A memorial service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Williams officiating.
