Ruth Allen

F. Ruth Allen, age 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church. Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary Ellen Walker Kiestler. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Ed Allen of Cleveland; three sons: Tommy Allen of Charleston, David Allen of Lenoir City and Mark Allen of Manchester; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 Monday, July 17, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Don Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Danny Wooden, Harry Elmore, Benny Elmore, Jason Allen, J.J. Brown and Bryan Comer serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006 at the funeral home.
