Paul Ray Beavers, Sr., age 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006 in a local hospital. He was a member of the Family Chapel Church. He was employed with Cleveland Chair for the past ten years. Mr. Beavers was the son of the late James E. and Minnie A. Dolan Beavers. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bessie Thomas Beavers of Cleveland; four children: Donna McGill, Paul Beavers, Jr., Rebecca Beavers and Joseph Beavers all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Larry McGill, Keith McGill, Dustin Lowe, Sebastian Hawkins, Brittany Beavers, Dylan Stevenson and Whitney Beavers; three brothers: James Beavers, Jessie Beavers and Robert Beavers all of Cleveland; six sisters: Dorothy Shaffer of Cleveland, Gladys Swaggerty of Winchester, TN, Carolyn Dover, Evelyn Barnes, Glenda McCormick and Linda Green all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Don Harris and Reverend Clayton Buckner officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Bobby Beavers, Joseph Beavers, Chris Beavers, Richard Shaffer, Bo Barnes and Gerald Gillespie will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
