Herman Miller

August 19, 1924 — July 24, 2006

Herman L. Miller, age 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. He was a member of the North Cleveland Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in World War II and was also a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Alhambra Shrine and a 32 degree mason with the Charleston Masonic Lodge. Mr. Miller was the son of the late Lawrence and Cecil Varnell Miller and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rathburn Miller and Cash Edward Miller and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, America and Ivo Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Reba Hamilton Miller of Cleveland; two sons and spouses: Gale and Bernice Miller of Charleston and Ivo "Monty" and Lori Miller of Kauai, Hawaii; grandchildren: Anthony Miller and wife, Julie of Charleston, TN, Ivo "Aaron" Miller, U.S. Naval Surgeon and wife, Gena of Bethesda, MD, Neil Miller and wife, Stacey of White House, TN, Joshua Miller of Los Angles, CA and Jordan Miller of Kauai, Hawaii; great-grandchildren: Morgan Miller, Parker Miller, Gareth Miller, Payton Miller, Hailey Miller and Hunter Miller. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Reed Wright officiating. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the North Cleveland Baptist Church for the Face For The Future Fund, 2815 North Ocoee Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312.
