Alma Lee Ledford

Alma Lee Ledford, age 96, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, August 03, 2006 at the home of her granddaughter in Benton. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Ledford, a son, Earl Alvin Ledford, and a daughter, Doris Loretta Hennessee. She is survived by two sons: Howard Virlyn Ledford, and Donald Ray Ledford, both of Delano; one daughter, Barbara Boerema of Douglasville, GA; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Kinzel Hooker officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Grove Level Cemetery in Dalton, GA with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service.
