Dorothy Foster Stewart

Dorothy Foster Stewart, age 89, went to her heavenly home, Saturday, August 5, 2006 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility. Mrs. Stewart was a waitress at Rickey?s Restaurant for 35 years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga and attended Community Hall Church in Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Clay Foster and Lois Morton Foster; husbands: Joseph R. Stewart and Jim Samples; son, James Stewart; stepdaughter, Myrtie Pierce and eight brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Murphy of New Port Richey, FL and Cheryl Feeney of Red Bank, TN; stepson, Billy Stewart of Stewartville, MN; stepdaughter, Mary Jo Gregg of New Jersey; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters: Deedy McCann and Betty Merriman both of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, GA.
