Paul J Withrow

Paul J. Withrow, age 75, a life long resident of Bradley County and a resident of Harrison Pike in Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. His hobbies were wood working and hunting and fishing. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. Mr. Withrow was the son of the late W.L. "Bill" and Agnes Davis Withrow and was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Withrow and a sister, Mamie Lee Tinsley. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Elaine and Steve Goodwin of Alpharetta, GA and Doris Ann and Danny Near of Cleveland; grandson and spouse: Erik and Gena Near, great-granddaughter, Linda Near, granddaughter and spouse: Summer and Kevin Stephens; great-grandaughters: Keely Stephens and Tori Stephens; one son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Carol Withrow of McDonald; grandson, Brandon Withrow; great-granddaughters: Bridgette Withrow and Kylie Wagner; one special nephew and spouse: Bryan and Debbie Todd; brother and spouse: Bobby Gene and Jewel Withrow of McDonald; sister and spouse: Linda and Lawrence Mathews of Cleveland; sister, Sue Beam of Cleveland; brother-in-law and spouse: Frank and Pat Tinsley of Cleveland; one brother-in-law and spouse: Dale and Ruth Massey of Cleveland; one sister-in-law: of Liz Massey of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Caywood and Pastor Bob Tidd officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with the white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2006 at the funeral home and also from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children?s Hospital, Attention: Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
