Jeanne M. Killebrew, age 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II where she served in the Women?s Army Corp. She was a lifetime member of the DAV. She was a disabled veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion Post # 81. Mrs. Killebrew was the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph Amyot and Eva Plude Amyut and was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Colleen Killebrew and six brothers. She is survived by husband of 58 years, Thomas Killebrew of Cleveland; four children and spouses: John T. and Colette Killebrew of Charleston, Michelle and John Knox of Spring Hill, FL, Monica and Nick Faraone of Largo, FL and Kirk and Cheryl Killebrew of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters: Monica Bourgeois and Adelle Andrews; one brother, Joseph Amyot; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father P.J. McGinnity presiding. Interment will follow 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Her family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.
