Larry L Helton

Larry L. Helton, age 57, a resident of Birchwood, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a member of the Birchwood Church of God of Prophecy. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. Mr. Helton was the son of the late Henry Helton, Jr. and Ruby Childs Helton. He is survived by two children: Kimberly Crawford and Curtis Helton both of Georgetown; three grandchildren: Holly Woodall, Aaron Crawford and Cade Crawford all of Georgetown; one brother, Jerry Alex Helton of Birchwood; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Martin officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery with Glen Holder, Aaron Crawford, Jim Holder, Ronnie Ramsey, Clark Crawford and Jeremy Helton serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
