Nada Pickel, age 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and was employed with Galaxy Carpet Mill before her retirement. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Bernice Rose Brown and was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Pickel, daughter, Donna Pickel, brother, William Marion Brown, and sister, Juanita Bryant. She is survived by her children and their spouses: John and Beth Pickel of Crandall, GA, Diane and Richard Strong of Cleveland, Lolly and Ronnie Reagan of Old Fort, Kane Pickel of Cleveland, Jennifer and Scott Allen of Cleveland, Randy and Nicky Pickel of Cleveland, and Eric and Tammy Pickel of Cleveland; special daughter, Susan Kenner; step-daughter, Frances Alazaman; sisters: Nancy Stamey of Cohutta, GA, Virginia Luciano of Florida, and Mary Lombano of New York; nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Higgins and Pastor Gary Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Crandall, Georgia with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service. John Pickel, Kane Pickel, Randy Pickel, Eric Pickel, Scott Allen and Ronnie Reagan will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
