Ella Pylant

Ella D. Pylant, age 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in a local hospital. She was of the Methodist faith. She retired from Shering Plough after twenty years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Mildred Naves Pylant. She is survived by her four children and spouses: Randy and Shelley Gabehart of Soddy Daisy, Patty and Randy Jones of Cleveland, Bradley Gabehart of Cleveland and Melissa and Curtis Trantham of Soddy Daisy; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters: Evelyn Kelly, Catherine Clark, Virginia Gibson and Betty Pepper all of Athens, AL; one brother, Paul "Bud" Pylant of Athens, AL; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends also survive. A remembrance service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Limestone Memorial Gardens in Athens, Alabama with Jeremy Jones, Tristan Knox, Jason Jones, Travis Gabehart, Randy Joe Gabehart and Cody Gabehart serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
