Martha Marie Walker

Martha Marie Miller Walker, age 85, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Maple Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late James Arthur and Bessie Marie Miller and was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Calvin Walker; daughter, Tonya Kaye Melton. Survivors include her children and spouses: Patricia Ann and Ronald White, Melissa and Phil Hooper, Stanley Calvin Walker and special friend, Pamela Key all of Cleveland; five grandchildren: P.J. Hooper, Hunter Hooper, Christopher Brian Walker, Dustin White and Tiffany Gann; one great-grandchild, Baylor Gann. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Nolan and Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery with the white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her grandsons, Dustin White, Christopher Brian Walker, P.J. Hooper, Hunter Hooper, Ronald White and Phil Hooper will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
