Dortha L Hawkins

Dortha L. Hawkins, age 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at her home. She was employed with Sanda Hosiery Mill for eighteen years and was of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Jennie Pruitt Swafford, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Hawkins, and three sons: Winston Mullinax, Tommy Mullinax and Burch Hawkins. She is survived by four children: Neoma Fay Goforth of Cleveland, Linda Parnell Yarber of Cleveland, Glenda Markitta Ledford of Oldfort, and Timmy Hawkins of Cleveland; twenty one grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Bennett of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend John Rogers, Reverend George Ellenwood and Reverend Randall Headrick officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4 ? 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
