Ernest "Len" Gentry, Jr., age 58, a resident of Cleveland for the past fifteen years, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a beloved husband, father and granddaddy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was of the Presbyterian faith. He was the son of the late Ernest and Lucille Buxton Gentry. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judi Horne Gentry of Cleveland; four children: Jesse Gentry and wife Susan of Cincinnati, OH, Jimmy Gentry of Cleveland, Jacque Stanifer and husband Lee of Cleveland, and Jason Gentry of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren: Preston Stanifer, Jenelle Gentry, Katie Gentry, Josh Gentry, Jacob Gentry and Jesse James Gentry; one sister, Carol Goff and husband Jerry of Smyrna; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.V. and Helen Horne of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
