Agnes Bowman

Agnes Marie Bowman, age 56, resident of Harrison, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Cora Bell Bowman, and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rosa Lee Hill and Edna Jenkins, and one brother, Wilbur Bowman. She is survived by a loving family of four sisters: Mary Ruth Cranfield of Charleston, Irene Mowery of Georgetown, Velma Childs of Georgetown, and Lois McDowell of Georgetown; four brothers; Leroy, Freddy, Jimmy, and James Bowman, all of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hood and Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in Bald Hill Cemetery in Birchwood concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends Monday from 6-9 p.m.. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
