Johnny "Squirrel" Franklin Miller, Jr., age 48, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2006. He was employed with Jackson Chair Factory Plant # 4 for thirty years and was well known in the chair factory business. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Franklin Miller, Sr. and one brother, Jimmy Ray Miller and one sister, Janice Marie Miller; grandmothers: Edna Haggard and Lucille Miller. He is survived by his children: John Paul Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Jacob Miller and Joshua Miller all of Cleveland; mother, Mildred Owensby Miller of Cleveland; three brothers: Eddie Miller, Michael Miller and Robbie Miller all of Cleveland; special nieces: Hali Miller and Amber Eslinger; two special cousins: Lisa Duncan and Nancy Cartwright both of Bentonville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Reed Wright officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Jeff Pierce, Billy Espy, Nathan Ross, Tracy Sewell, Roy Sherlin and Donnie Hughes will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Virgil Gilliam, Horace Newman, Dale Genereux and Danny Lear. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
