Bobby L Russell

Bobby L. Russell, age 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 81 and was also a member of the VFW and the AM Vets. He and his wife operated the Bob and Pat?s Lounge on Springplace Road for 21 years and had also been employed with American Uniform for ten years. Mr. Russell was the son of the late Arthur Blake and Lula Denton Russell and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Ann Hackler; one brother, Kenneth Russell; two sisters: Juanita Ratcliff and Norma Noblitt. He is survived by his wife Pat Russell of Cleveland; two sons: Robert Russell and Charlie Brumfiel both of Cleveland; four daughters: Debbie Davis of Greenville, NC, Teresa Murray of Cleveland, Lisa Higgins of Chattanooga, Mary Norwood of Cleveland; four sisters: Melba Chapman of Phoenix, Arizona, Charlotte Williams of Cleveland, Virginia Hodgson of Cleveland and Ellen Canova of Richmond, Virginia; several grand children and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Mowery and J.D. Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the American Legion Post # 81. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
