Linda Parker

Linda Parker, age 61, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at her home. She was of the Christian faith. Ms. Parker was employed at Bishop Baking Company for over thirty years and worked as an account technician with the Tennessee Department of Health. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Parker and Minnie Mantooth Parker; brothers: Joe Parker and C.A. Parker; special niece, Linda McConnell and brother-in-law, J.W. McConnell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Steve Waycaster of Knoxville; grandchildren: Ashley Brooke and Jackson Parker; brothers: George "Bill" Parker and wife, Barbara of Titusville, FL, Jim Parker; sister, Pat McConnell of Cleveland; beloved nephews and their families: Mike, Denise, Taylor and Chloe McConnell, Kirk, Mary and Katie McConnell all of Cleveland, Steve, Melissa, Morgan and Lauren McConnell of Douglasville, GA; special grand nephews: Rob Wooten of Athens, TN and Arthel Clark of Cleveland, TN and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Mowery officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
