Richard Earl Warren

Richard Earl Warren, age 74, a resident of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at his residence. He was a cabinet maker with Johnson Brothers Cabinet Shop. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was also a member of the Amvets. Mr. Warren was the son of the late Richard E. Warren, Sr. and Marchie Johnson Warren and was also preceded in death by his sister, Grace Margaret Johnson and a brother, Luke Johnson. He is survived by his three sons: Dennis Warren of Decatur, John Warren of Cleveland, TN and Leonard Warren of Allen Park, MI; two daughters: Judy Dowker of Rockwood, TN and Jill Kennedy of Englewood, TN; eleven grandchildren; two brothers: Alvin W. Johnson of Rockwood, TN and Gene Johnson of Oliver Springs, TN; eight sisters: Patsy Dorn of Sandersville, GA, Helen McKinney of Nashville, TN, Wanda Dickey of Locust Grove, GA, Mattie Khonsari of Knoxville, TN, Betty Faye Moses of Knoxville, TN, Sarah Jane Haren of Chattanooga, TN, Evelyn Moree of Stockbridge, GA and Linda Whitworth of Riverdale, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with John Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Chilcutt Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
