William Bitzel

William "Bill" James Bitzel William "Bill" James Bitzel, age 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007 at his residence. He attended Springplace Church of God of Prophecy. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie Bitzel and Florence Scott Bitzel; brother, Kenny Bitzel; sisters: Betty Greyhouse and Anna Bell Grey. He is survived by his wife, Millie Bitzel of Cleveland; children and spouses: Tony Bitzel and wife, Jeannie Bitzel, Tonya Kazy and husband, Travis Kazy all of Cleveland; grandchildren: James Small, Jacob Small and Tony Kazy; brothers: Perry Bitzel of Creston, IL and Johnny Bitzel of Lagro, IN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Barry Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
