Robert C. "Bob" Williams, age 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in a local hospital. He was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and a deacon for many years. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a self-employed business man. Mr. Williams was the son of the late S. R. Williams and Lillie Belle Williamson Williams and was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Williams and a sister, Betty Wooten. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Williams of Cleveland; two children and spouses: Kim Williams Brownfield and Jack Brownfield, and Kevin Williams and Amanda Britton Williams all of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Kacy Brownfield and Jackson Brownfield both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Arris Cavender and Reverend Gary White officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Mike Wooten, Jeff Wooten, Ralph Chase, Bobby Plemmons, Jack Brownfield, Wiley Wooten, Jack Freeman and Jackson Freeman serving as pallbearers. Danny Huskins will serve as honorary pallbearer. His family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
